Swedish Ambassador to Thailand, H.E. Mrs. Anna Hammargren, recently visited Ericsson (NASDAQ: ERIC) Thailand's 5G Innovation and Experience Studio (5GIX Studio) in Thailand Digital Valley, Chonburi. Her visit marked a significant milestone in fostering collaboration and strengthening relations between Sweden and Thailand, while emphasizing Ericsson's role in driving Thailand's digital transformation.
The visit comes as part of the Swedish Embassy's mission to deepen and broaden the ties between the two nations. Sweden and Thailand have enjoyed 156 years of formal bilateral relations, built on mutual respect and shared aspirations for innovation and development.

Ericsson's 5GIX Studio, inaugurated in September this year, serves as a hub for innovation and co-creation, enabling collaboration among key stakeholders in the technology ecosystem, including government bodies, telecom operators, academia, and enterprises. The studio highlights Ericsson's commitment to supporting Thailand's journey towards becoming a regional digital hub.
During the visit, Anders Rian, Head of Ericsson Thailand, emphasized the company's long-standing relationship with the country and its role in shaping Thailand's digital future.
