The forum also explored the Airports of Tomorrow initiative, which promotes environmentally responsible airport designs and resilience against climate change.
Mr. Chaiwat reflected on Bangchak Group's experience, shared insights and proposed recommendations as Thailand's first and only producer of 100% neat Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) from used cooking oil through a dedicated unit, certified to international standards. Commercial production and distribution is set to begin in Q2 this year. He reaffirmed Bangchak Group's commitment to working with partners across industries to accelerate SAF adoption, support sustainable aviation, and drive the transition to a low carbon future.
