
Enlit Asia 2025, the premier platform uniting the energy ecosystem across ASEAN, was successfully launched on 20 March in Bangkok, setting the momentum for the region's most anticipated power and energy event, taking place from 9-11 September 2025 at BITEC, Bangkok. The exclusive launch event brought together senior government officials, industry leaders, and energy professionals to discuss Thailand's approach to advancing a realistic energy transition in ASEAN.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from Simon Hoare, Portfolio Director at Clarion Events, followed by a keynote address delivered Dr Sompop Pattanariyankool, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Energy, Ministry of Energy of Thailand, who emphasised the country's commitment to driving sustainable energy policies and regional collaboration.
Driving ASEAN's Energy Transition: Key Insights from Industry Leaders
A distinguished panel of energy leaders engaged in a thought-provoking discussion on Thailand's approach to advancing a realistic energy transition in ASEAN. Speakers included are:
- Pongsakorn Yuthagovit, Deputy Governor (Planning and Engineering), Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA)

Each speaker shared opening remarks, followed by an engaging discussion moderated by Kobchai Nitungkorn, Senior Associate from Tilleke & Gibbins, where they addressed key challenges, innovations, and investment opportunities shaping the future of ASEAN's energy sector.
