Mr. Nattasit Soontranu, Head of Credit Card Marketing Division at Krungthai Card Public Company Limited (KTC), reported findings from a 2024 survey on online shopping and food delivery among KTC cardmembers, stating: "Shopping via KTC credit cards on e-commerce platforms Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop was ranked 3rd in total KTC credit card spending, with customers averaging 5 online shopping transactions per person per month. In this second quarter, KTC has prepared special online shopping promotions: members who use KTC VISA credit cards to pay in installments via Shopee will receive up to 1,500 baht discount per transaction from 1 April 2025 to 30 June 2025, while those who shop via Lazada with full payment will receive up to 1,000 baht discount per transaction from 1 April 2025 to 30 September 2025."
"For the food delivery category, which includes Grab, LINE MAN, foodpanda, Shopee Food, and Robinhood, the number of KTC credit card transactions grew by 18% in 2024, with Grab and LINE MAN seeing significant growth. Customers used KTC credit cards for an average of 9 delivery transactions per month, and over 85% of members who spend in this category continue to use KTC credit cards every month."
