
Bangkok Bank enables customers to deposit money at Tops nationwide, expanding a collaboration with FSMART to boost transactions via Banking Agents and expects 20% growth in 2025 as a "trusted partner and reliable close friend" facilitating any financial transactions
Bangkok Bank has expanded its collaboration with "FSMART", a provider of Boonterm top-up automatic kiosks, to meet the needs of modern people who have little time and want to do a lot of things in one place by launching a cash deposit service via "CenPay powered by Boonterm" counter at 700 branches of "Tops" nationwide. The service is convenient, safe, and flexible in terms of time with no need to go to a Bank branch. The Bank is confident this service will help boost the number of transactions through Banking Agents to grow by more than 20% in 2025.
Bangkok Bank Executive Vice President Prassanee Ouiyamaphan said the Bank is committed to expanding financial service channels to cover all customer lifestyles. Recently, the Bank expanded its collaboration with Forth Smart Service Public Company Limited or "FSMART" as the Bank's Banking Agent to provide cash deposit services through "CenPay powered by Boonterm" at cashier counters in 700 branches of Tops nationwide including Tops Food Hall and Tops which have opening hours from 8.00 a.m. - 10.00 p.m. and Tops Daily which is open 24 hours a day. This will meet the needs of today's customers who can shop for products and make simple financial transactions in the same place without needing to go to a Bank branch as well as giving more choices to those who have limited time as they can make transactions even outside the Bank's branch banking hours. People who receive cash frequently can also deposit money immediately. The service ensures the same level of security standards as at Bank branches.

In 2023, we launched a service enabling transactions through the "Boonterm top-up kiosk", including cash deposits and identity verification at more than 95,000 kiosks nationwide and now we are collaborating to provide a cash deposit service through "CenPay powered by Boonterm". The Bank has developed the service to meet the needs of customers as a "trusted partner and reliable close friend" that has been facilitating convenient and secure financial services for customers for the past 80 years", Mrs. Prassanee said.
Mrs. Prassanee added that the Bank's service through Banking Agents is one of the key strategies that helps the Bank offer financial services to more customers. Currently, the Bank provides cash deposit-withdrawal transactions and identity verification through Banking Agents, totaling more than 163,000 points nationwide. The transaction volume has grown by an average of 17% per year and continues to increase. The Bank is confident that under the 2025 plan, through cooperation with various partners, it will help increase the volume of transactions through Banking Agents, which is expected to grow by 20% in 2025.

Bangkok Bank customers can use the cash deposit service via "CenPay powered by Boonterm" at cashier counters in 700 branches of Tops Food Hall, Tops and Tops Daily nationwide. They only need their ID card, deposit account number, and the phone number of the depositor, and can deposit money from 1 - 10,000 baht/transaction, up to a maximum of 10,000 baht/day/account. Upon completion of the deposit, the customer will receive a slip as proof of deposit.
