Deutsche Bank Announces Sponsorship of Money 20/20's RiseUp Programme to Empower Women in Payments and Financial Services

Deutsche Bank Named Money 20/20's Empowerment Partner for its RiseUp Programme

Deutsche Bank has today announced a partnership with Money20/20, the world's leading fintech show and the place where money does business. Deutsche Bank has through its partnership been appointed Empowerment Partner for Money20/20's RiseUp programme.

Money20/20 established RiseUp in 2018 at Money20/20 USA as an exclusive, application only, curated leadership program and has since been rolled out at all of Money20/20's shows globally. RiseUp is an annual global initiative that champions greater diversity across the payments, fintech and financial services sectors.

The programme provides women and non-binary individuals with the network, tools and techniques needed to help them strategically advance their careers. Since its inception, more than 390 women from around the world have applied to the program, and 75 percent have received a promotion or moved into a more senior role since joining. Money20/20 works to amplify their voices and open doors through its platform and programmes, collaborating with all players, to empower real change and erode systemic bias.

As part of the sponsorship, Deutsche Bank will support three RiseUp breakfasts in line with the Money20/20 show agenda in Bangkok (22-24 April), Amsterdam (3-5 June) and Las Vegas (26-29 October). The breakfasts provide the RiseUp participants the opportunity to connect with industry peers from around the world and grow their network.

Ole Matthiessen, Deutsche Bank's Global Head of Cash Management and Head of Corporate Bank for APAC & MEA said: "In an environment where money never sleeps and data moves at the speed of light, Money 20/20 is where we pause to listen. We are delighted to participate in Money 20/20's shows globally, and importantly, partner with them to champion the importance of diversity and empower women within the fintech world and financial services more broadly."

"We're excited to welcome Deutsche Bank as our RiseUp Empowerment Partner. Together, we're creating more opportunities for women to grow, lead, and shape the future of financial services. Their support helps us reach more voices, build stronger networks, and drive lasting change across the industry," said Tracey Davies, Money20/20's President.

Rachel Whelan, Deutsche Bank's Head of Corporate Cash Management APAC & MEA & Global Head of Payments & TFX Product Management said: "Financial services is evolving faster than ever, and collaboration is key to staying ahead. Money 20/20 is a place where the future of finance can be co-authored by those bold enough to reimagine how the world transacts. We are proud to be Money 20/20's empowerment partner for RiseUp and bring together a diverse range of voices across the fintech and banking industry."
