Bangkok--Mar 18--Emirates
Emirates, the international airline of the UAE, is offering free chauffeur-driven limousine services to its Emirates First and Business Class passengers flying from Bangkok to other Emirates’ 42 destinations worldwide.
Passengers asking for the service are required to purchase their tickets from travel agents or Emirates office in Thailand and have pick-up site within 40 km. radius of Bangkok International Airport.
The airline is the first to introduce this service on routes from Bangkok to selected cities.
Mr. Soonthorn Suree, Emirates Manager Thailand, says: “ Emirates strives to make our passengers’ complete journey more comfortable rather than just taking them from airport to airport. We are providing chauffeur-driven cars to collect them from their homes or hotels before flight time and drive them to their hotels or other destinations on arrival.”
“This is one of our complimentary services First or Business Class passengers, which demonstrates Emirates’ commitment to providing passengers with the best service on the ground and in the air.”
To book the transfer for an outbound journey, passengers need to inform Emirates office or travel agents in Bangkok before departure, giving the flight details, ticket number and most importantly the address map and telephone number of the pick-up site. Emirates will then issue a limousine voucher and arrange for a limousine.
For the return journey, passengers are only required to show their limousine voucher at Emirates counter in Bangkok International Airport.
The service is also available at the following destinations: London, within 50 miles radius of Heathrow or Gatwick Airport; Manchester, within 90 miles radius of Manchester Airport; Paris, within 30 km. radius of Charles de Gaulle Airport; Zurich, within 80 km. radius of Zurich Airport; Rome within 50 km. radius of Leonardo Da Vinci (Fiumicino) Airport; Nice, within 30 km. radius of Nice Airport; Johanesburg, within 30 km. radius of Johanesburg Airport.
At each destination, the limousine transfer is offered free for a certain distance from the airport, beyond which passengers are required to pay nominal charges.
All hotels in Dubai provide transfers to and from the Dubai International Airport.
“We are also offering Marhaba meet-and-assist services to all Emirates passengers arriving in Dubai,” added Mr. Soonthorn.
Emirates, winner of over 135 international awards, now serves 43 destinations in 35 countries. Emirates is the first airline in the world to equip its entire fleet with personal video systems in all seats, including Economy, and to have introduced inflight phones and fax machines in all its aircraft.
Emirates flies four times a week between Bangkok and Dubai with the Boeing 777 and Airbus A310-300 aircraft. For more information, please contact travel agents or Emirates Thailand office at 260-7400-4, 260-7873-5 or fax 260-7408. End.
