CEVA Thailand to Provide World Class Automotive Logistics Services to Isuzu
CEVA Logistics, a leading global supply chain management company, recently signed a new contract with Isuzu Motors Co., (Thailand) Ltd. (“Isuzu”) to supply warehousing and shipping services for Isuzu. This contract endorses Isuzu’s confidence in the company, and reaffirms CEVA’s position as the number one automotive logistics provider in Thailand.
Under the terms of the agreement, over 500 employees will provide inbound and outbound logistics assistance to ensure the smooth execution of the automaker’s KD operations, including receiving, wrapping and packing of its auto-parts. CEVA will also manage the packaging and shipping for over 65,000 Isuzu vehicles a year to the various countries such as South Africa, Egypt, Ecuador, Kenya, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines, and Japan.
Since the beginning of the Isuzu Motors KD Centre in 2003, CEVA has been working closely with Isuzu to maintain accuracy and timely movement of automotive products to several countries. The parties are looking forward to continuing the positive relationship between them, as CEVA has demonstrated proven capabilities in the automotive sector.
Mr. Winfried Kiesbueye, Country General Manager of CEVA Logistics Thailand, added: “We are proud and delighted that Isuzu reaffirmed its satisfaction and commitment in our services. At CEVA, we pride ourselves on delivering outstanding logistics solutions and ensure continuous service improvements to exceed our customers’ expectations. We believe our partnership with Isuzu exemplifies this philosophy.”
The philosophy is part of CEVA’s focus on Operational Excellence through the introduction of LEAN and SMART Solutions.
