General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The monsoon trough lies across lower central, upper southern and eastern Thailand. Abundant rainfalls are likely in the areas. People near waterways and lowland of the lower North, the Central and the East are still bewaring of flooding.

The ridge of high pressure areas from China extend to covers upper northeast and will be covering northern Thailand today (20 Oct). Causing cooler weather and drop 1-3 C are expected in the areas and less rainfall over the upper country during few days.

Typhoon “MEGI” was located in the central South China Sea. It is expected to move to nearly the coastal area of southern China and Hong Kong during 22-23 Oct, 2010.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Tak, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, Kamphaeng Phet, Pichit and Phetchabun.

Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Suphanburi, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain
