The rather strong northeast monsoon still prevails over the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain and isolated heavy rain is expected over the South. People in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla should beware of heavy rain and flooding condition. Wind-wave in the Gulf has rather strong. All ships should proceed with caution during this period.
