Another ridge of intense high pressure from China covers upper Thailand and brings cooler weather with 4-6 ?C drops and windy. It first begins affecting the Northeast and then the rest regions.
The prevailing northeast monsoon over the South and the Gulf of Thailand grows stronger and lead to torrential rain and isolated heavy to very heavy fall over the South from Chumphon southward. People in the risky areas should beware of severe heavy rain and possible flash flood during 7-9 December. The wind-wave in the Gulf begins strengthening. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during the period.
