The northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South has strengthened. Abundant rains and isolated heavy to very heavy rain are likely in the South from Chumphon southward. The strong wind wave is expected in the Gulf with 2-3 meters. After that during 10-13 Dec, the high pressure area covers upper Thailand will weaken. But cool to cold weather is likely in the areas. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South. Abundant rains and isolated heavy rain are likely in the South. The wind wave is expected in the Gulf will weaken.Warning During 7-9 Dec, people in the risky areas from Chumphon southward should beware of flooding conditions. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats in the Gulf should keep ashore.
Northern Part During 7-9 Dec, cold in the upper part, minimum temperature 13-15 oC. Cool elsewhere, minimum temperature 16-21 oC. 2-4 C drop with morning fog. Cold to very cold on the mountainous top, minimum temperature 5-11 C. Northeasterly wind 15-30 km./hr.
