General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time Another ridge of intense high pressure from China has covered upper Thailand and brings cooler weather with 2-4 C drops and windy over northern, northeastern, central and eastern Thailand.

The active northeast monsoon over the South and the Gulf of Thailand leads to torrential rain and isolated heavy fall over the South from Phatthalung southward. People in the risky areas should beware of severe heavy rain and possible flash flood during 8-9 December. The strong wind-wave in the Gulf is likely 2-4 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during the period.
