Weather Forecast During 15-19 Dec, the intense high pressure area from China will extend its ridge to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Thundershowers with gust and then 3-5oC drops with windy will be affected for the Northeast today (15 Dec) and the other part next days. The rather strong northeast monsoon will prevail over the Gulf and the South during 16-20 Dec. Increasing in rainfalls and heavy falls are expected in the South. Wind-wave in the Gulf will strengthen, wave height 2-3 meters during the period.
During 20-21 Dec, This high pressure area covering upper Thailand will weaken. Rising in temperature and morning mist is likely in the area while weaken wind-wave in the Gulf of Thailand.
Warning During 15-17 Dec, people in the upper Thailand should beware of thundershowers and gust. During 16-20 Dec, people in the South from Chumphon southward should beware of heavy falls and flooding. All ships in the Gulf should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
Northern Part During 15-17 Dec, cool and morning fog. Minimum temperature 18-22oC.
Cold on the mountainous top, minimum temperature 8-13 C.
