Weather Forecast During 21-24 Dec, the high pressure which covered Thailand is weakening. There are still cool weather and morning fog in the areas. The westerly trough will move across upper North, causes isolated thundershower in the North on 21 Dec. Moderated northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South. Scattered rains and heavy falls some place are expected in the South. Wind-wave in the Gulf has moderate.
During 25-27 Dec, another rather intense high pressure area from China will extend its ridge to cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea, causes isolated rain and 2-4oC drops with windy. Increasing in rainfalls and heavy rain some place are expected in the South. Wind-wave in the Gulf will strengthen.
Warning During this period, people in the upper Thailand should beware of dense fog while traveling through the fog in the morning.
Northern Part During 21-25 Dec, cool, minimum temperature 16-21oC. Cold on the mountainous top, minimum temperature 9-14 C and dense fog some area. Upper portion (21 Dec,): Isolated to widely scattered thundershowers. Northeasterly wind 15-30 km./hr.
After that during 26-27 Dec, 1-2 oC drops.
Northeastern Part During 21-24 Dec, cool and minimum temperature 16-20oC. Cold on the mountainous top, minimum temperature 10-14C, and morning mist. Northeasterly wind 15-30 km./hr.
