Weather Forecast During 23-24 Dec, the weak high pressure over Thailand still leads to cool weather with morning fog in the area. The moderate northeast monsoon over the Gulf and the South brings scattered rain and isolated heavy falls in the South with the moderate wind-wave in the Gulf.
During 25-29 Dec, another ridge of rather intense high pressure from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Isolated rain with 2-4oC drops and windy are expected. More rain and isolated heavy falls will occur in the lower South (east-coast) from Surat Thani downward. The wind-wave in the Gulf will strengthen.
Warning During this period, all forms of transport should beware of poor visibility. During 26-28 Dec, all ships in the lower Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution.
