General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The high pressure remains over upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Cooler weather holds over northern, northeastern, central and eastern Thailand with morning mist and isolated thick patches. All forms of transport take caution due to poor visibility.
The active northeast monsoon causes more rain and isolated heavy falls over the south. The wave in the lower Gulf is likely 2-4 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during 4-6 January 2011.
