Cooler weather with morning fog and dense fog is likely over Thailand and isolated frost on mountaintops in the North and the Northeast. The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Widely to scattered thundershowers and moderate wind-wave in lower Gulf of Thailand. During 7-8 Jan, an intense high pressure from China will extend its ridge to cover upper Thailand, causing drop in temperature and windy with isolated rainfall in western and upper portion of the northern Thailand.
