The northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South has weakened. Decreasing in rainfall is likely in the lower South. Wind wave in the Gulf has weakened.
During 22-26 Jan, another ridge of moderate high pressure area will extend to the eastern part of Thailand and the South China Sea. It likely to the northeast monsoon prevails the South and the Gulf will strengthen. Increasing in rainfalls and isolated heavy rain are likely in the South East Coast. Wind wave in the lower Gulf with about 2 meters.
Warning During this period, all forms of transport in upper Thailand should beware of visibility. During 22-26 Jan, all ships in the lower Gulf should proceed with caution.
