General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time Another ridge of moderate high pressure from China extends to northeastern Thailand and the South China Sea. Cooler weather remains over the area. The northeast monsoon over the Gulf and southern Thailand intensifies and brings scattered rain over southern east coast with wave of 2-3 meters high in the lower Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during 25-28 January.
