Weather Forecast During 25-30 January, the ridge of intense high pressure area from China will extend to northeastern Thailand and the South China Sea and will intensify during 28-31 January. Cooler weather remains over upper Thailand with 2-4 oC drops. The northeast monsoon over southern and the Gulf will strengthen. More rain with isolated heavy falls is likely over southern east coast with wave of 2-3 meters high in the lower Gulf. Warning All ships in the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during this period. During 28-31 January, people along the coast of lower Gulf should beware of the wind break.
