Weather Forecast During 28 Jan - Feb, another ridge of nearly intense high pressure area from China will extend to Thailand. Cooler weather with 2-4oC drops over upper Thailand. During 1-2 Feb, this high pressure area will be weakening but still cool weather over upper Thailand.
While The northeast monsoon prevails over southern Thailand and the Gulf has rather strong throughout the period. Scattered rain with isolated heavy rain is likely over the South east coast. Wind wave in the lower Gulf with 2-3 meters.
Warning All ships in the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boats in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani southward keep ashore throughout the period. During 29 Jan — 1 Feb, people along the coast of lower Gulf should beware of the wind break.
