General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The ridge of high pressure from China extended to Thailand and the South China Sea. Cool weather in general is likely over the country in the morning. The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and southern Thailand. Rainfall over the lower South and strong wind wave with 2-3 meters from Surat Thani down-ward. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during 28-31 January.
During 28-29 Jan, westerly trough will move over the upper Thailand. This cause rainfall first time then drops temperature.
