and the South China Sea. Cool to cold weather and windy is likely over the country. The northeast monsoon over southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand intensifies. Scattered rainfall with isolated heavy rain is likely over the South from Surat Thani southward. Wind wave in the Gulf and the Andaman Sea with 2-4 meters. After that during 3-6 Feb, this northeast monsoon will weaken. Decreasing in wind-wave in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea while wave height 2 meters in the lower Gulf.
During 31 Jan-2 Feb, the westerly trough move across northern Thailand causing rainfall in the area and then 2-5 oC drops in the northern and western of the country.
Warning During 31 Jan — 2 Feb, people along the coast of lower Gulf should beware of high surf. All ships in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
