"Strong Wind-wave in South China Sea and lower Gulf of Thailand"

The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails over the South China Sea and the Gulf of Thailand causing 2-3 meters of wave high in the lower Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore during 1-2 days. People along southern east coast should beware of high surf during this period. The ridge of high pressure from china still extends to Thailand while the westerly trough moves across the upper Thailand. Cool to cold weather and light rain is likely in upper Thailand and decreasing in temperature in northern Thailand.
