Weather Forecast During 2-3 Feb, The ridge of high pressure covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. The westerly trough is moving over upper Northeast Thailand. Isolated rain in the first and then 2-4oC drops is likely in the upper Central and the Northeastern. The rather active northeast monsoon prevails over southern Thailand, the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea. Scattered rainfall is likely over the South from Surat Thani southward. Wind wave in the lower Gulf’s Thailand with 2-3 meters. After that during 4-8 Feb, this high pressure and northeast monsoon will weaken. Rising temperature in the upper Thailand and decreasing rain in the South are likely while moderate wind-wave. Warning During 2-3 Feb, All ships in the lower Gulf of Thailand from Surat Thani southward and the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and small boats keep ashore.
