Weather Forecast The ridge of nearly intense high pressure area from China will extend to Thailand tomorrow. Thunderstorm with gust and 4-6 C drops are expected over the country during 11-15 February, 2011. These conditions are effect in northeastern Thailand at the beginning and the other part later.
The southwest monsoon over southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand will intense. Increasing in rainfall is likely in the south and 2-3 meters of wave high in the lower Gulf of Thailand.
Warning During 11-14 Feb, people in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East should beware of thunderstorm with gust. During 13-15 Feb, all ships in the lower Gulf of Thailand from Surat Thani southward should proceed with caution.
Northern Part Cold with morning fog and dense fog in some places. Minimum temperature 10-15 oC.
Cold to very cold on mountaintops, minimum temperature 4-8 C. Light winds 6-12 km./hr.
During 12-15 Feb, isolated to widely scattered thundershowers with isolated gust mostly in the eastern part and then cooler weather with 3-5 oC drops.
Northeastern Part Morning fog and dense fog in some places. Upper part: cold, minimum temperature 12-15 oC.
Lower part: cool, minimum temperature 16-21 oC.
