"Westerly Trough"

The westerly trough has moved to the upper North of Thailand, and another round of strong high pressure area from China extends to the upper Northern Thailand. These causes thunderstorm with gust and hail occurring over the following areas:
- On 15 March, over the North, Northeast, East and Central including Bangkok and vicinity
- During 16-18 March, over the whole country
People should beware of this severe weather during the period. During 16-18 Mar, the wind-wave in Gulf of Thailand will strengthen. It is expected about 2 meters of wave high in the lower Gulf from Surat Thani southward, all ship should proceed with caution.
