Weather Forecast During 29-30 Mar, a low pressure covering the middle of southern Thailand will move to southern west coast and the Andaman. Torrential rain with heavy to very heavy fall in many places remains over the South during 1-2 days. People should beware of flooding condition.
The risk areas include provinces of Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Patthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala, Narathiwat, Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
The wind-waves about 2-3 meters high remain in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea.
All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore in the period. The nearly intense of ridge high pressure has covered Thailand causing cooler weather with 2-3 oC drops and scattered light rain over upper Thailand.
During 31 Mar- 4 Apr, this low pressure covering the Andaman sea southern Thailand will move to the Bay of Bengal and the high pressure will weaken. Decreasing in rainfall is expected in the South while about 2 meters of wave height in the Gulf of Thailand. Rising in temperature and decreasing in rainfall is likely over upper Thailand during the period.
Warning During 29-31 Mar, people in the South should beware of heavy rain and flooding and all ship in the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and keep ashore. People in the upper Thailand should care of your health from rains and cooler weather occurring during this period.
