General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time At 04.00 a.m. today (31 Mar, 2011), an active low pressure covering Surat Thani, NaKhon Si Thammarat and Krabi will weaken. Torrential rain with heavy falls remains much of southern Thailand in this today. People in southern Thailand should beware of flooding condition during a few days. The risk areas include provinces of Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Phang-nga, Krabi, Trang and Satun. The wind-waves 2-3 meters high are likely in the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 1-2 days.

The high pressure covering Thailand will weaken. Cool weather remains in northern, northeastern, eastern, central and Bangkok during 1-2 days, whereas temperature will rise in the daytime.

The upper Gulf from Prachuap Khiri Khan upward: wave height about 2 meters.

The lower Gulf from Chumphon southward: wave height 2-3 meters.

Southern Part (West Coast) Fairly widespread thundershowers and heavy to very heavy rain in Phang-nga and Krabi.

Minimum temperature 20-22 ?C. Maximum temperature 24-26 ?C.
