"Heavy Rain and Strong Wind-Wave"

At 04.00 a.m. today (11 May 2011). The low pressure cell over upper northern Thailand is moving to Laos. The southwest monsoon remains strong over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain and isolated heavy rain occurs over much of the windward side of the North, Central, East and western South of the country. People in the disaster areas should beware of flash flood. The areas include provinces of Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Sukhothai, Tak, Phichit, Phetchabun, Ranong and Phang-nga.
The strong wind-wave with 2-3 meters high is expected mainly in the Andaman Sea and 2 meters high in the upper Gulf of Thailand. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 11-12 May.
