General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Thundershowers still remains over the country. Wave height about 2 meters is expected in the Andaman sea, all ship should proceed with caution.
The moderate high pressure area over the lower China will extend its ridge to cover upper northeastern Thailand today. This will form monsoon through lying across central of Thailand, more rain is expected over the region during 12-14 May, 2011.
