Weather Forecast During 13-16 May, the ridge of moderate high pressure area from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea while the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. These cause monsoon troughs lie across upper Thailand. Abundant rain and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in upper Thailand and about 2 meters of high wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand during the period.
During 17-19 May, this monsoon trough will weaken while the moderate southwest monsoon remains over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Scattered to fairly widespread thundershower remains in the areas during the period.
Warning During 13-17 May, people in the risky areas in upper Thailand especially in the North, the upper Northeast and the upper Central should beware of flooding conditions. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution throughout the period.
Northern Part Fairly widespread to widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to heavy rain throughout the period.

Northeastern Part During 13-15 May, scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to heavy rain.
