General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand, and the monsoon trough lies across the North, the upper Central and the Northeast. Scattered to fairly widespread rains with isolated heavy falls are expected over the country. People should beware of heavy rain. Wind-waves in the Andaman Sea are expected about 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and during 2-5 June small boats keep ashore.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phrae,

Uttaradit, Tak, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Pichit and Phetchabun.

Light winds 6-12 km/hr.

Northeastern Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nong Khai,

Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan,

Amnat Charoen and Ubon Ratchathani.

Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C.

Variable winds 10-30 km/hr.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri,

Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.

Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-35 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy rain

in Nakhon Nayok, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan,

Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (West Coast) Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Ranong, Phang-nga, Phuket, Trang and Satun.

Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C.

Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Wave height about 2 meters and about 3 meters in thundershower areas.

Metropolitan Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain.
