General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Scattered to fairly widespread thundershowers are likely over the country with isolated heavy falls in the western portion of Thailand and the East. People in the areas should beware of heavy rain during the period.

Wind-waves in the Andaman Sea are about 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and small boast keep ashore during 3-5 June.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Nan, Sukhothai, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet and Phitsanulok.

Light winds 10-25 km/hr.

Northeastern Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Sakhon Nakhon,

Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Amnart Charoen, Ubon Ratchathani, Si Saket, Surin, Buriram and Nakhon Ratchasima.

Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 34-35 C.

Easterly winds 10-30 km/hr.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.

Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-35 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers with isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Nayok,

Chanthaburi and Trat.

Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 32-35 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr.

Wave height 1-2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan,

Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Minimum temperature 25-26 C. Maximum temperature 34-35 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-35 km/hr. Wave height 1-2 meters.

Southern Part (West Coast) Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Ranong, Phang-nga, and Phuket.

Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-33 C.

Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Wave height about 2 meters and about 3 meters in thundershower areas.

Metropolitan Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain.

Minimum temperature 26-27 C. Maximum temperature 34-35 C.
