General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Scattered to fairly widespread rainfalls and isolated heavy falls remain over the country.

Stronger wind-waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore during 13-17 June 2011.

Northern Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain mostly in Chiang Rai, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Northeastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Amnat Charoen, Surin,

Si Saket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Minimum temperature 24-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri,

Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Surat Thani,

Nakhon Si Thammarat, Patthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.

Southern Part (West Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Ranong, and Phang-nga.

Metropolitan Fairly widespread thundershowers.
