General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The strong southwest monsoon over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand is intensifying. The strong wind-wave is expected mainly in the Andaman Sea 2-4 meters high and in the upper Gulf of Thailand from Surat Thani northward 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore during 15-16 June 2011.
Monsoon trough lies across the east of Northern and Northeastern Thailand Scattered to fairly widespread thundershower and isolated heavy rain occurs over the monsoon trough and windward side of the North, Central, East and western South of the country.

mostly in Chiang Rai, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak, Sukhothai, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun.

Northeastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain
in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Amnat Charoen, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.
Minimum temperature 23-25 C. Maximum temperature 32-34 C.

Central Part Fairly widespread thundershowers
mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Suphan Buri, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.
