General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The active southwest monsoon remains over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain is likely with isolated heavy to very heavy fall mainly in the windward side of the Central, the East and the South west coast. People in risky areas of Chanthaburi, Trat, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Ranong should beware of flooding condition today (19 Jun 2011).

The wind-wave is expected 2-3 meters high mainly in the Andaman Sea and in the upper Gulf of Thailand from Surat Thani northward. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore. People along the coastlines of the South should beware of high surf.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon Sawan,

Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain

in Chon Buri, Sa Kaeo, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Southern Part (West Coast) Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Ranong and Phang-nga.
