General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Widely to scattered rain is likely in the overall country. Wind-wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf is about 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution.

Tropical storm “HAIMA” in the upper South China Sea was moving west-northwestward. It is expected to make landfall near northern Hainan island, southern part of China, today (23 June 2011). This storm takes no effect on Thailand.

Northern Part Widely scattered thundershowers mostly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai,

Nan, Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Phitsanulok, Phichit and Phetchabun.

Southwesterly winds 15-30 km/hr.

Northeastern Part Widely scattered thundershowers mostly in Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen, Si Saket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan,
