General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time Tropical storm “HAIMA” in the upper Tokin bay or about 250 km. east of Hanoi moving westward and will make landfall Hai-Phong, Vietnam today (24 Jun, 2011). This storm will downgrade to tropical depression and keep westward to Laos. This causes more rain and heavy rain many places in the upper Northern and Northeast, Thailand during 24-26 Jun, 2011. People in the risky areas such as Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Phetchabun and Loei should beware of flooding condition.

The active southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand. Rather strong wind-wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf with 2-3 meters high are likely. All ships should precede a caution and small boat should keep ashore, while People along the coastlines of the Southwest should beware of high surf.

Northeastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and heavy to very heavy rain some place in Loei, Nong Khai, Bueng Kan, Nong Bua Lam Phu, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Phanom, Sakhon Nakhon and Mukdahan.

Central Part Scattered thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Suphanburi, Kanchanaburi and Ratchaburi.

Eastern Part Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Nakhon nayok, Sakeaw, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Southern Part (East Coast) Scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Chumphon, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
