General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. The low pressure cell covers northern Thailand. Abundant rain with isolated heavy rain is likely in the North, the western portion of the Central, the East and the South west coast. Excessive rainfall is likely in the North, people in the risky areas along foothills and waterways should beware of flash flood. The areas include Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Tak and Sukhothai the next 1-2 days.

The wind-waves in the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand are likely 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea should keep ashore during this period.
