General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The rather strong southwest monsoon still prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. A low pressure cell covers the Gulf of Tonkin. Abundant rains and isolated heavy fall are likely over upper Thailand. People in the areas beware of heavy rain during this period. Wind-wave in the Andaman Sea and upper east of Gulf is likely about 2 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution during 22-23 July 2011.
