General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The monsoon trough across the Northern and the lower Northeastern weakens. Decreasing rainfall is likely in the areas. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Abundant rain and isolated heavy fall are likely over the windward side in the western portion of the country and the East. People should beware of heavy rain during 1-2 days.

Wind wave in the Andaman Sea and the eastern portion of the upper Gulf is intensifying with 2-3 meters high. All ships in the areas should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep shore during 27-31 July 2011.
