General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. This cause scattered to fairly widespread rain and isolated heavy fall likely in the upper North, the Northeast, the East and the South of Thailand. People in the areas should beware of heavy rain. Wind wave in the Andaman Sea and the eastern portion of the upper Gulf is intensifying with 2-3 meters high. All ships in the areas should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep shore during 28-31 July 2011.
Tropical storm “Nock Ten”, has moved to the South China Sea. It is expected to move to Hainan Island, China during 29-30 July.
