Weather Forecast During 27-28 Jul, The southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand is intensifying. While the weak monsoon trough over the North and the Northeast Thailand shift over Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam. These cause much rain in the windward side of Thailand and isolated heavy rain.
Tropical storm “Nock ten” near the Philippines will move to the South China Sea by tomorrow (28 Jul, 2011) and making landfall the coastal upper Vietnam about 30 July 27, 2011 respectively. During 29 Jul,-2 Aug, the active southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Southern and the Gulf of Thailand will intensify. Abundance rain and heavy rain in many places are likely. Wind-wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf will strengthen.
Warning During 30 Jul-2 Aug, People in the risky areas such as the upper part of North and Northeast, the west portion of Central, the East and the South west coast beware of flooding conditions. All ships in the Andaman Sea and portion of the upper Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore.
Northern Part During 27-29 Jul, Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain.
During 30Jul-2Aug, Scattered to fairly widespread thundershower and heavy rain many places.
Minimum 22-25 oC, maximum 30-34 oC.
