General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The nearly intense monsoon trough lies across northern Thailand, the upper part of northeastern Thailand to the low pressure cell in the upper part of South China Sea. The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Abundant rain is likely over upper Thailand and
isolated heavy rain in the Northern, the lower Northeast, the Central and the East. People especially in the North along foothills, near waterways and in lowland are warned of flash flood during 1-2 days.
Wind-wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand is likely with 2-3 meters high.
All ships should proceed with caution and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore during 1-4 August,2011.
