Weather Forecast On 31Jul, tropical storm “NOCK-TEN” made landfall on upper Vietnam. During 1-2 Aug, This storm will downgrade to tropical depression and move across Laos and Northeast of Thailand. And then it is weakening to a low cell cover the North of Thailand on 3 Aug. Torrential rain with windy and heavy to very heavy rain is likely much of the North, the Northeast the western portion of Central, the East and the South west coast.
During 31 Jul- 2 Aug, the active southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand. Strong wind-wave is likely Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand with 2-4 meters high.
Warning During 31 July to 2 August, People in the risky areas of the North, the Northeast the western portion of Central, the East and the South west coast should beware of flooding conditions. All ships in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
Northern Part During 31 July - 4 Aug, widespread rain with windy and heavy to very heavy rain in many places. Minimum 22-25 oC, maximum 28-34 oC. During 5-6 Aug, widely to scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in the eastern portion.
