General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The moderate monsoon trough lies across the north and upper northeast of Thailand while the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Torrential rain is likely over upper Thailand while isolated heavy rain is likely in the North, the Northeast, the western portion of Central and the East in the following 1-2 days. People in risky areas along foothills, near waterways and in lowland are warned of flash flood. Wind-wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf is likely with 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore during 2-3 August, 2011.

Typhoon “MUIFA” located over the east of the Philippines is heading to Okinawa Island, Japan during 4-5 Aug.
