General Situation at 04:00 AM local Time The ridge of moderate high pressure area from China covers upper Thailand. The monsoon trough moves across central Thailand and the active southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. These cause more rain and isolated heavy rainfalls likely over the Central, the lower Northeast, the East and the South west-coast during 20-23 September. People in lowlands along foothills and near waterways are warned of possible flash flood. The wind-waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are expected 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore in the following 2-4 days.

mostly in Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phayao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit and Phetchabun.

Eastern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

mostly in Nakhon Nayok, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
