The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, southern Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. These cause abundant rain and isolated heavy rainfalls likely over the lower North, the Central, the Northeast and the East. People in lowlands along foothills and near waterways are warned of possible flash flood. The areas include Phetchabun, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Chaiyaphum, Roi Et, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Saket, Ubon Ratchathani, Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
